Mountain Gold salt lamps are made of 100% pure A grade Himalayan salt! They are hand mined in the foothills of the Himalayas, from what was once an ancient sea. Every salt lamp is handmade and unique.
WHAT'S SPECIAL ABOUT MOUNTAIN GOLD HIMALAYAN SALT LAMPS?
Mountain Gold salt lamps use 15-25 watt bulbs. There is a special rotary switch so users can adjust the lamp from very dim (like a night light) to the full 25 watts.
WHAT ARE NEGATIVE IONS?
Negative ions are atoms or molecules that have gained one or more extra negatively charge electrons.
WHAT'S GOOD ABOUT NEGATIVE IONS?

HOW LONG CAN THEY STAY ON FOR?
The lamps are made with 100% Himalayan salt, they tend to accumulate moisture, it is recommended to keep them plugged in and turned on at all times. If you have to turn them off they must be covered with plastic to keep them dry. The user may also want to put a protective covering underneath the lamp if they are being used on a wood table.
ARE THEY CSA CERTIFIED?
Yes, our lamps are CSA certified which is identified on the electrical cord. Lamps that are not certified are illegal and can be dangerous.
CAN I REPLACE THE BULBS OF MY SALT LAMP?
Yes, there is a special bulb that can be purchased in our wellness products section. There are a variety of colored bulbs available that represents color therapy.
